Ysa graduated cum laude by Maastricht Conservatorium with a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance (specializing in jazz) and also cum laude with a Master's degree in the Department of Latin Music of Codarts Rotterdam. In addition to this, she holds a pedagogy degree and has been working for several years as a vocal educator, helping hundreds of artists and voice professionals develop their vocal skills.

In 2024, she founded Studio 92, her own vocal studio where she not only teaches singing but also conducts songwriting workshops.

Working in-person in the Netherlands, also offering workshops at conservatories such as MUBA and the University of Tartu, and establishing her own virtual classroom to teach worldwide.
